A Mystery of the Universe

I live four blocks off Route 66. That being said, I don't feel as guilty about posting this, because that makes it have a tiny bit to do with Route 66. . . very tiny.

Anyway. . . I live in a very nice house in a beautiful, historic part of town. The only thing wrong with my property is that directly behind my back yard there sits a McDonald's. I can only see the roof over my tall fence, so the only thing that ever really bothers me is the constant aroma of Big Macs, day and night. (I will probably never eat a Big Mac again. . . never!)

But yesterday evening we had a rather amazing little downpour, which we needed desperately. The 15-minute storm was unique for this part of the country because during the entire event the sun continued to blaze brightly. So, of course my thoughts ran to RAINBOW!

And now I have solved one of the mysteries of the Universe. Why does McDonald's do so well? Why are their stockholders always smiling? Why does the chain continue to expand and prosper?

Simple. That's where the legendary pot 'o gold is hidden, and last night's rainbow outed it!!

That would be torture, and eventually disdain, to live that close. Love the picture.

I've learned to coexist with the blight that is Mickey D's, but oh, that stench! :-)

Personally, I HATE McD's burgers, too. When I'm in the mood for a burger, then I like Braum's, or Chili's.

I never really liked them either, Trevor. Now, I like them even less!
