Well, THIS will be easy...

For the first time in forever, we had exactly ZERO visitors at Afton Station today.   Nobody traveling Route 66 today?  Not sure the reason.  The weather was ok, except for our trip home, but more about that later.

Ron M. (finally back from vacation), Marly and I sat around all day.  Our main chore was to unpack and display the big box of new caps that arrived.   These are fantastic caps, beautifully made and decorated with nice, thick embroidery.  Nicest I've ever seen.  We have lots of colors (some not seen in this picture) and they're totally worth the $14 price tag.  Come and get 'em.
Of course, I also have our extremely popular do rags at only $8.  Plenty of those available, too. So get your headwear here!

Well, this is beginning to sound too much like an advertisement, and I never want that to happen.  It's just my enthusiasm showing its face, I guess.   The drive home was punctuated with a major thunderstorm that only lasted for about 5 minutes, but was quite strong.  By the time we arrived back in Tulsa the sun was shining brightly.  Even so, the TV weather people are hard at work warning those in nearby counties of possible tornadoes and hail (from pea size to tennis ball size, depending on who you listen to).   Ha ha....

The most frustrating thing about the TV weather people
on non-stop this evening was that they covered up Ken Jennings return to JEOPARDY in the tournament!
