AOL is discontinuing it's journal component at the end of this month, so I will be forced to move to another blog site. I believe I'll be going to Blogspot, but will continue to write here until I figure out how to set it up and save my archives from this site. So, keep reading here until I let you know that I'm about to make the switch and give you my new URL. And, I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to everyone who's been reading my scribbling here. Thanks!
I heard from Phil the Runner today. He feels certain he'll reach Vinita tonight and Afton in the late morning tomorrow. Ron and I will be there to meet him. Laurel, read Magic Smoke before you read me. They have much more info, and more details will be coming soon. While you will have to initiate the transfer of AOL entries to your new Blogger (blogspot) home, they should all go automatically. However, lots of folks are backing up their previous entries in case something goes wrong. I've got way too many to back up, so I'm going to hope that AOL can do this!
