I'd...I know exactly what you mean about "the loss". I'd give anything to have that feeling I had for it back in the mid-90's before I got to know those who I looked at as "gods". I don't know the answer as to how to get it back....perhaps there's a way to, somehow. I think I should just make a trip on 66 and try to recapture the feeling I had then, and maybe somehow that can morph into a real feeling of today. Confusing, and sad, things to have to deal with since 66 is such an important part of us!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6729166837877316238.post-59556914654877113592008-08-24T06:03:00.000-05:002008-08-24T06:03:00.000-05:00I just knew that you, of all people, would underst...I just knew that you, of all people, would understand what I was saying here since we've talked about the subject before. I guess you can never go back, either physically or emotionally, so you have to push ahead and reinvent those old feelings. I think that, for both of us, a nice long Mother Road trip to a place we've rarely been is the remedy. I don't know that it will happen for me any time soon, but I hope it does for you.
